,Dear Students, Your first set of exams are right around the corner. If you are making good grades you should still be studying a minimum of one hour per night. If you are struggling in your courses you should be studying 2 to 3 hours per night, every night. Do not wait till the night before the exam and expect to get a good mark. You need to develop good habits at this time of your life. Your study habits will largely determine how well you do at school. Also, Do Not Forget, If you have a question, Ask! If you need help, Ask! We teachers are here to help you. If you need extra help, Ask! I wish you the best in life and success on your exams. Sincerely, Mr. John
7th Grade Science Exam Preparation Guidelines The exam will cover Units 1,2,3 & 4 in the Course Book and Work Book as well as the Scientific Method. Review both books, your note books, handouts and old tests. This website also has good videos to help. There will be 1 major question that asks you to design an experiment that uses the Scientific Method.
When Studying the Course Book, Focus on the Questions and Summaries. (just like every test) You should study the vocabulary that you do not know but Remember the idea of science is not about memorization but about figuring out how to answer questions and developing real understanding.
